Dorothy Bendlak

NAUGATUCK- Ms. Dorothy Anne (David Bendlak, 64, of Naugatuck, passed away Friday evening Jan 28, 2011 at her home with her family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Dorothy was born in Waterbury, Nov. 30, 1946, a daughter of the late Walter B. Davis, Jr. and the late Estelle A. (Mitchell) Davis and was a lifelong resident of Naugatuck. She was educated in the local school system and was a graduate of Naugatuck High School, Class of 1964. She was a member of the Congregational Church of Naugatuck.

She leaves her children, Mark Noss and his wife Alison and Donald Noss, Jr. both of Naugatuck, Lori Juchem and her husband David of Waterbury and 7 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday Feb. 1, 2011 at 12 noon at the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. Burial will be at the convenience of the family Frfiends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 10 am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center, 1975 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, 06708 or to the VNA-Hospice, 50 Brookside Dr., Waterbury 06708.
