Waterbury – Doris Davis, 89, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018 in Waterbury. She was the wife of the late William Davis.
Mrs. Davis was born in Poplar Branch, North Carolina, a daughter of the late John M. and Lydia (Simmons) Forbes. She is survived by her son, Archie Davis, and his wife, Cynthia, of Cheshire, and her brother, Raymond Forbes, and his wife, Lucy, of Waterbury. She was predeceased by her grandson, Elton Davis.
Services for Mrs. Davis will be private and at the convenience of her family. There are no calling hours and The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street, has been entrusted with her care. Mr. and Mrs. Davis would like to thank the staff of Autumn Lake Healthcare at Bucks Hill for their loving care of Doris, and ask that random acts of kindness be committed in her memory.
