WOLCOTT- Donna Marie Fredsall, 54, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017 with her family by her side in the V.I.T.A.S unit of St. Mary’s Hospital. She was predeceased by her daughter Colleen Mariah Moriarty.
She was born August 10, 1962 in Waterbury daughter of Mercedes “Cedy “and the late Lowell “Fred” Fredsall.
Donna attended Wolcott High School until her Junior Year and upon her families move to Hollywood, FL graduated her Senior year from McArthur High School.
She was an Administrative Assistant at the former Wild Strawberry Salon and Day Spa. Donna’s utmost passion was spending time with her family especially on holidays, including her families 4th of July party at “The Compound”, countless weekend getaways with “The Cousins”, and traveling to Old Lyme for beach days with her sister Kathy.
Besides her mother, Donna is survived by her son William “Bill” and his wife Jennifer Moriarty of Watertown; her sister Kathy and her husband Rich Mulligan and their son Dylan of Old Lyme, CT; two brothers William Marvin Fredsall of Wolcott, and David and his wife Michelle Fredsall of Wolcott and their children Stephen and Aislyn; and countless loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends who have been amazingly supportive during her final days.
Donna’s family would like extend a heartfelt thanks to all the Doctors and Nurses on Sacred Heart Five, and the V.I.T.A.S unit of St. Mary’s Hospital for the care and compassion they showed her in her final days.
Arrangements- Calling hours for Ms. Fredsall will be held Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 2 to 6 P.M at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave, 06710. Donna’s funeral will be held 10 A.M Monday, March 20, 2017 at Our Lady of Loreto Church, 12 Ardsley Road, Waterbury, 06708. Friends are asked to meet directly at church. A private burial will be held in St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck, 06770. Donations in her name may be made to either of her daughter’s scholarships, the Colleen Mariah Moriarty memorial scholarship c/o Sacred Heart High School, 142 South Elm Street, Waterbury, 06706, the Colleen Mariah Moriarty memorial scholarship c/o Waterbury Sportsmen Club, or to the V.I.T.A.S unit of St. Mary’s Hospital, 56 Franklin Street, Waterbury, 06706.
