CHESHIRE - Donald Robert Fowler of Venice, Florida and Cheshire passed away September 28, 2018 at his home in Florida. He was the husband of Virginia Burton Fowler.
Don was born February 7, 1948 in New Haven, CT, the son of the late Donald and Nancy (Omicioli) Fowler. He attended Cheshire High School and Saint Michael’s College in Vermont where he graduated cum laude. He worked for United States Surgical Corporation of Norwalk, Seitz, LLC of Torrington and G&F Industries of Sturbridge, MA. Don enjoyed skiing, snowmobiling, hunting and fishing, travelling and cooking.
Besides his wife of 46 years, Don is survived by his son Gregory Fowler and his wife Danielle, their children Allison and Avery Fowler of Cheshire; as well as his sister Paula Fowler of Wallingford.
Arrangements – A Celebration of Life for Don will be held on Monday October 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Beaverdale Memorial Park and there are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O. Box 98018, Washington, DC 20090-8018.
