Donald J. Faulkner

MERIDEN – Donald J. Faulkner, 62, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Faulkner was born April 6, 1956 in Houlton, ME, a son of the late Robert Faulkner and Nellie (Lindsay) Hoyt. He was retired from a local manufacturing company.

Mr. Faulkner is survived by his brothers; Robert, Kenny, Charles Faulkner, David Jipson and Kevin Hoyt, and his sisters: Barbara DeMaria, Sherry Partyka, Dorothy Barry and Raelynn Nowak. He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews and his step son Allan Savulis and his wife Cortney and their children. He is also predeceased by his life partner Frank Savulis.

His family would love to send a special thanks to Constellation Visiting Nurses and social workers. A great big thank you to his nurse Petra. We would also like to thank all the nurses and doctors at the VA hospitals in West Haven and Newington. A special thank you goes to his friend Brenda Nitche for helping taking care of our brother.

Arrangements - Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT (Please meet directly at the cemetery). The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with arrangements. Memorial contributions, in Donald’s name, may be made to to a charity of the donor’s choice.
