Denise Angela Bachrach, age 67, of Meriden, CT passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Yale New Haven Health Smilow Cancer Hospital. Born on May 2, 1950 in San Fernando, California, she was daughter of the late Edward Bachrach and the late Shirlee (Antinolfi) Bachrach.
Denise graduated from Cheshire High School. She was employed in a variety of positions, which included Office Manager at Peter Inzero, Inc., as well as others in bookkeeping, graphic design, carpentry and construction. Most recently, Ms. Bachrach worked as a Charge Entry Analyst at Yale New Haven Health.
In her spare time, Denise enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and landscaping. She also reveled in household repair and carpentry, but most of all, loving her 3 cats, Lancelot, Gwenny, Cinder and a springer spaniel, Joey. She was an avid animal lover and volunteered at the Humane Society.
She is survived by a brother, Greg (Ann) Bachrach of Oostberg, WI; a sister, Dawn (Peter) Hubbard of Wells, ME; several cousins, Doreen Festa, Joe (Moira) Aitro, Robin Aitro and Laura Lupoli, all of Cheshire, CT. She is also survived by nephews, Alex (Stefanie) Bachrach and Adam (Jenna) Hubbard; nieces, Justine (Brian) Bieganski and Andrea (Rick) Eilers; close friend Nancy (Erik) Efferson; other cousins; and grandnieces and grandnephews.
At the request of the family, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of your choice. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire has been entrusted with her arrangements.
