Daniel J. Bukowski

CHESHIRE- Daniel J. Bukowski, 77, passed away Sunday November 8, 2015 at Mid-State Medical Center in Meriden. He was the loving husband of Pauline (Picucci) Bukowski.

Mr. Bukowski was born October 17, 1938 in New Britain son of the late Joseph J. and Stephanie (Sokolowski) Bukowski.

Daniel was a Truck Driver for Pratt and Whitney prior to his retirement. In his free time he was an avid Boater, Fishermen, and loved spending time at the beach.

Besides his loving wife he is survived by four sons Daniel and his wife Barbara Bukowski of New Britain, David and his wife Robin Bukowski of East Hampton, Dean and his wife Kelly Bukowski of Bahama, NC, and Frank Solla of Portland; a daughter Rose Solla and her companion Robert Smith of Cheshire; a sister Janice Sakowicz of Kensington; numerous grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Barbara Uryga; a daughter Debbie Newbury; and his brother in law Robert Sakowicz.

Arrangements- Mr. Bukowski’s funeral will start 10:15 A.M Thursday, November 12, 2015 from the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410 and proceed to St. Bridget Church, 175 Main Street, Cheshire, 06410, for a funeral mass at 11 A.M. Calling hours will be held the morning of the funeral from 9 A.M until the procession leaves for church at the funeral home.
