NAUGATUCK- D. Steven Lucid, 59, passed away Sunday May 22, 2011 at Yale New Haven Hospital.
Steven was born April 7, 1952 son of Elizabeth "Betty" H. (Fears) and the late Timothy F. Lucid.
In his free time Steven was an avid outdoorsman.
Steven is survived by his daughter Carly and her husband Carlos Rivera of New Britain; four brothers Timothy Lucid of Southbury, Warren Lucid of Monroe, Kevin Lucid of Kentucky, and Colin Lucid of New York; two sisters Colleen Hardy of Waterbury, and Karen Lucid of Naugatuck; and his grandson "the light of his life" Elijah Steven Rivera. He was predeceased by a brother Shawn P. Lucid.
Arrangements- A Mass of Christian Burial for Steven will be held Thursday May 26, 2011 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church St., Naugatuck, 06770 at 11 A.M. Friends and family are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2011 from 6 to 8 P.M at the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St, 06770.
