Cristina M. Tencher, 92, of 36 Nye Street, Manchester, CT formerly of Middlebury, passed Sunday, May 3, 2009 at The Fenwood Manor Convalescence Home in Manchester. She was predeceased by her husband James R. Tencher.
Cristina was born February 28, 1917 in Santiago, Chile and was the daughter of Rodolfo C. and Lily (Radbil) Michels who predeceased her.
In her spare time Cristina was an avid artist.
Cristina is survived by a son James R. Tencher of Santiago, Chile, two daughters Eloise and her husband Josef Aigner of Glastonbury, CT and Cynthia Whipple of Santiago, Chile, five grandchildren, and two great-grand children. She was predeceased by her brother Rodolfo Michels.
Arrangements- Funeral Services are private. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave, is in charge of the arrangements.
