Christopher Walter 'Chris' Hardisty

Christopher Walter Hardisty, age 52, of Cheshire passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 31, 2016 at Hartford Hospital. He was the beloved son of Walter and Eleanor (Baehr) Hardisty of Cheshire and was born on February 19, 1964 in New Haven.

Chris loved to fish and was an exceptional fisherman. He was a fan of all sports and played baseball and football, and he enjoyed music.

In addition to his parents, Walter and Eleanor; Chris is survived by his loving brother, Matt Hardisty and his fiancée, Kim Daly of Prospect; his sister, Suzanne Kaiser and her husband, Michael of Northford; and his daughter, Stephanie Hardisty of Danbury. Chris leaves many cherished nieces and nephews, cousins and aunts and uncles.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 10AM in St. Thomas Becket Church 435 No. Brooksvale Rd., Cheshire, CT 06410. Interment will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery, Higgins Rd., Cheshire. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire has been entrusted with Chris’s arrangements. At the request of his family, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, CT Affiliate, 2080 Silas Deane Highway, Rocky Hill, CT 06067-2334.
