Charles Dunn

NAUGATUCK - Charles "Howie" Dunn, 86, passed away Sunday September 15, 2013 at Beacon Brook Health Center. He was the husband of the late Pauline (Poisson) Dunn.

Mr. Dunn was born February 18, 1927 in Waterbury, the son of the late James and Loretta (Kennedy) Dunn. He was employed by Uniroyal Footware Division until his retirement in the mid-1980s.

Mr. Dunn is survived by his children Howard Dunn and his wife Loreen of Englewood, FL and Karen Murnane and her husband John of Torrington.

The family would like to thank Beacon Brook Health Care staff and "Charlie's Angels" who so lovingly cared for him for the last four years of his life.

Arrangements - A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday September 21, 2013 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church St. at 10 a.m. Friends are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Mary's Kitty Corner, P.O. Box 418, Pleasant Valley, CT 06063. The Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck 201 Meadow St. is assisting with arrangements.
