Celso Rocha

Dale City, VA - Celso Rocha, 55, formerly of Waterbury, CT, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at his home in Dale City.

Celso was born March 31, 1962 in Gafanha da Nazare, Portugal, the son of Maria Ferreira Ramos and the late Manuel Casqueria Rocha Fernandes. He had been a resident of VA for the last 14 years where he was employed as an Electrician and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 26. In his spare time he enjoyed playing guitar, listening to music while his favorite pass time was gardening.

Besides his mother, Celso is survived by his sons Celso Rocha Jr. of Bethel and Eugene Rocha of Waterbury; his brother Cesario M. Rocha of Naugatuck; as well as many cousins.

Arrangements – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday September 28, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 2071 Baldwin Street, Waterbury. Friends are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck and there are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to an organization of the donor’s choice. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck is assisting with arrangements.
