Celeste Fugazzotto

Naugatuck – Celeste Fugazzotto, 94, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 15, 2019 at her home. She was the wife of the late Carmen Fugazzotto.

Mrs. Fugazzotto was born May 21, 1925 in Boston, MA, daughter of late Angelo and Margaret (Terminello) Santosca. She was a retired seamstress employed by men’s clothiers, most notably, Brooks Brothers.

Mrs. Fugazzotto is survived by her daughter, Lydia Behlman, and her husband Franklin, of Naugatuck. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Samantha, Madilynn, Emma Jean, and Colby. She was predeceased by her sisters, Theresa, Laura, and Rosemarie.

Arrangements – A Mass of Christian of burial for Mrs. Fugazzotto will be held Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 1006 New Haven Rd., Naugatuck. Friends are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will take place Friday, July 19, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford, MA. There are no calling hours and the Alderson-Ford Funeral home of Naugatuck is assisting with arrangements.
