Carroll Davis

CHESHIRE- Carroll "Chummy" L. Davis Sr., 69, passed away Wednesday December 26, 2012 at Waterbury Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife Barbara Davis.

He was born May 23, 1943 in Rockland, ME son of the late Edward and his wife Beatrice (Maryfield) Davis.

Carroll was an employee of the Public Works Department in the town of Cheshire prior to his retirement.

He is survived by three sons Darrell and his wife Kelly Davis of Bristol, Carroll L. Davis Jr. of Cheshire, Alfred and his wife Mindy Davis of Cheshire; a daughter Mabel Davis and her husband Keith Waters of Cheshire; several Brothers and Sisters; six grandsons; a granddaughter; and one great grandson.

Arrangements- A graveside service for Carroll will be held 10 A.M Saturday December 29, 2012 at Cheshire Hillside Cemetery, Wallingford Road, 06410. Burial will follow after the service. Calling hours will be held Friday December 28, 2012 from 6 to 8 P.M at The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410. Donations in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 38 Richards Ave, Norwalk, CT 06854.
