Carol Delpo

CHESHIRE- Carol B. Delpo, 83, passed away Tuesday, September 07, 2010 at her home. She was predeceased by her husband Michael Delpo.

Carol was born March 16, 1927 in Waterbury, and was the daughter of the late Harold and Edna (King) Powles.

Carol was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Cheshire. She was a member of the Nava Ski Club, and an avid traveler.

Carol is survived by a son Richard and his wife Donna Delpo of Plainville; two daughters Marcia and her husband Peter Galligan of Rutland, VT, and Nancy Delpo of New Britain; two grandchildren Michael and Kate; several nieces and nephews; and her five caregivers Nancy, Dot, Judy, Dottie, and Lori. She was predeceased by her brother Charles Powles.

Arrangements- A Memorial Service for Carol will be held Thursday, September 9, 2010 at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 59 Main Street, Cheshire, 06410 at 12:30 P.M Calling hours will be held Thursday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 A.M at The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St., 06410. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Donations in Carol's name may be made to VNA- Hospice, 50 Brookside Drive, Waterbury, CT 06708.
