NAUGATUCK - Carmen (Errichette) Martino, 100, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Glendale Center in Naugatuck.

Mrs. Martino was born February 2, 1917 in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Clara (Vitale) Errichette. She was a retired from Esther Dress after many years as a seamstress. She attended school Waterbury graduating from Wilby High School. She has been a Naugatuck resident over 40 years. She was devoted to her family, friends and community. She was a former member of the Emblem Club160. She was an avid fan of the NY Yankees, especially Derek Jeter.

She is survived by her son-in-law, James Desmarais Sr. of Naugatuck; her grandchildren Diane Desmarais of Watertown, James Desmarais Jr. of Naugatuck; Michael Desmarais and his wife Nicole of Naugatuck; her two great grandchildren; Kaylee and Michael Jr.; and her sister Joan Dibner of Harrisburg, P.A; her niece Diane (Angelicola) Hoch and husband Larry of Yardley, P.A.; her grandniece Stephanie (Hoch) Tigh and husband John of Newton, P.A. She is predeceased by her daughter Janet (Martino) Desmarais; her sister Ann (Errichette) Angelicola and her former husband Albin Martino.

Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Saturday March, 24, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. until the start of the service. In Lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to The American Diabetes Association, 260 Cochituate Road, Suite 200, Framingham, MA 01701.
