Bruce W. Carew

CHESHIRE – Bruce Carew, 67, of Cheshire, passed away May 29, 2016 after a brief illness.

Bruce graduated from Cheshire High School and persued a career as an Industrial Materials Handling Specialist. During his retirement, Bruce enjoyed NASCAR racing; daily meetings with his coffee group; reading; and spending time with his family and friends. Bruce will be fondly remembered for his quick wit and dry sense of humor-well known by all that knew him.

He is survived by his sister Sheila Winters of Morris; his niece Lisa B. Winters of Torrington; a nephew Scott Winters and his wife Catherine Winters ; as well as a Great Nephew Geoffrey P. Winters of Litchfield. Besides his parents, Bruce is predeceased by his sister Beth.

Arrangements – A Graveside service will be held on Thursday June 2, 2016 at 10 a.m. a Cheshire Hillside Cemetery, Wallingford Rd., Cheshire. There are no calling hours.
