Bienvenida Perez

Cheshire - Bienvenida Perez, 84, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Mid-State Medical Center in Meriden after a brief illness. She was the wife of Jose Perez.

Mrs. Perez was born March 30, 1932 in Lares, Puerto Rico, a daughter of the late Pedro and Laura (Ramos) Perez. She was the owner of El Manantial, a retail business in New Jersey, before retiring to Connecticut.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Perez is survived by her two daughters Lydia Lesky, and her husband, John, of Cheshire, and Blanca Rodriguez, and her husband, Alberto, of Weston, Florida, her brothers Roberto, Joaquin, Beno, and Julian,Jr. and her sisters, Julia and Juana. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Nicholas & Christopher Lesky. She was predeceased by her brothers Julian, Gonzalo, Juanito, Ramon, and her sisters, Cecilia, Bernarda, Rosa, and Irene.

Arrangements- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 A.M, Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at St. Bridget Church, 175 Main Street, Cheshire. Entombment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Meriden. Calling hours will be held at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street., from 9 a.m. until the funeral procession leaves for church.
