BATON ROUGE - Bart Grant, 48, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015.
Bart was born in 1966 in St. Louis, MO, and was a former longtime resident of Cheshire, CT. He was technology manager and a tax preparer with H&R Block in Denham Springs, LA.
Bart is survived by his mother, Elaine E. Grant of Baton Rouge; his father, Kerry E. Grant and his wife, Sandy, of Hilton Head Island, SC; and a brother, Anthony DeGioia Grant of Baton Rouge. Bart was preceded in death by his sister, Danielle Christine Grant.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, Hilton Head Island, SC. Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery, CT. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. Memorial contributions may be made to WRKF, Louisiana Public Radio, online or at 3050 Valley Creek Drive, Baton Rouge, LA, 70808.
