Anne (Brich) Jurewicz, age 93, of Prospect entered into rest on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at the Regal Care Nursing Home in Prospect. Anne was born on October 1, 1922 in Waterbury, daughter of the late John and Anna (Pataki) Brich.
Before her retirement, Anne was a factory worker at Naugatuck Glass Company for many years. She was a passionate cook, her favorite pastime was needlepoint and she loved Nascar.
She is the beloved mother of John E. Jurewicz of Waterbury, and is survived by her many loving nieces and nephews. Anne was pre deceased by her sister, Mary Choma; her brother, Michael Brich and her former husband, Emil Jurewicz.
Services for Anne will be private and at the convenience of her family. At the request of her family, memorial contributions may be made to Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care, 1579 Straits Turnpike, Middlebury, CT 06762. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck has been entrusted with her arrangements.
