WATERTOWN- Anne E. Barnes, 96, passed away Wednesday May 7, 2014 at Waterbury Hospital.
She was the widow of William Barnes Jr.
She was born June 18, 1917 in Hudson, NY daughter of the late Joseph and Louise (Taylor-Lemieux) Brickner.
Anne was a Nurses Aid in the ICU of Waterbury Hospital prior to her retirement, and was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist in Watertown.
She is survived by a sister Jean Breen of Brookfield; a grandchild; and a great grandchild. She was predeceased by her sons Robert W. Barnes and James L. Barnes.
Arrangements- Funeral services for Anne will be private. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Bethlehem Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave, 06710 is in charge of the arrangements.
