WATERBURY- Ann Owens, 97, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Waterbury Hospital.
She was born December 17, 1918 in Waterbury daughter of the late Kuzma and Mary (Bishko) Woloshinsky.
Ann attended local Waterbury Schools. Ms. Owens was a Quality Control Operator at both Scovill and Century Brass prior to her retirement.
She is survived by her sisters Dorothy Hall of Waterbury, Betty and her husband Edward Valuskas of Waterbury, Esther Jones of Houston, TX, and Ruth Stutzman. She was predeceased by her brother Walter and three sisters Olga “Alice” Hunt, Helen, and Violet Coleman.
Ann’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her Dr. Frank Longo, and the staff at Apple Rehab of Watertown for the compassion and care they showed her during her stay.
Arrangements- A Private Graveside Service for Ms. Owens will be held at New Pine Grove Cemetery, 850 Meriden Road, Waterbury, 06705. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave is assisting with the arrangements.
