Angel Velez

WATERBURY; Mr. Angel L. Velez, Jr. 28 of Waterbury passed away Monday August 22, 2011 at Saint Mary's Hospital. He was the husband of Beverly (Vreeland) Velez.

Angel was born December 8, 1982 in Bridgeport a son of Angel L. and Ana (Santos) Velez, Sr. He was a graduate of State Street High School and attended Colorado Technical Institute as well as Porter and Chester Institute. He worked in merchandising for Cross Mark, Inc.

Besides his parents and wife, he leaves his daughters, Iliana Velez, Analise Terni and Katerina Terni, his brothers, Hector Miranda of Ansonia and Edibelto Miranda of Waterbury, his sisters, Diane Vazquez of Ohio and Maritza Miranda of Illinois and his grandson Alexander Morales.

Family and friends may call at the Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury 9 Holmes Avenue on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Graveside services for Angel will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in All Saint's Cemetery 203 Spring Lake Road in Waterbury.
