Allen H. Paul
CHESHIRE- Allen H. Paul, 69, passed away Thursday September 21, 2017 at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford. He was the loving husband of Edith (Hirschhorn) Paul whom he was married to for fifty years.
Mr. Paul was born January 20, 1948 in New Haven son of the late Ephraim and Rene (Kaufman) Paul. He was a graduate of the University of New Haven, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Allen was the Director of System Management for U.S Repeating Arms Co. prior to his retirement. Mr. Paul in his free time was an avid runner participating in numerous marathons, and a photographer for the Cheshire Herald.
Allen’s family would like to thank the staff at both Mid-State Medical Center, and Masonicare Health Center for the care and compassion they showed Mr. Paul in his final days.
Besides his wife he is survived by two sons Andrew and his wife Ruth Paul of Cheshire, and Stephen Paul and his wife Susan Gilchrist of North Branford; and four grandchildren Rozlyn, Regan, Liam, and Emma.
Arrangements- A graveside service will be held for Allen on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 11AM in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street, 06410 assisted the family with the arrangements. Donations in Allen’s name can be made to American Cancer Society, 1075 Chase Pkwy # 4, Waterbury, CT 06708.
