MAMARONECK, NY- Miss Alice Shiller, 83, of Mamaroneck, NY, passed away Saturday evening Jan. 19, 2013 at The White Plains Hospital, following complications from surgery.
Miss Shiller was born and raised in Waterbury and was a graduate of Crosby High School and Simmons College in Boston, before settling in New York City. She was a gifted editor for Where Magazine, Metropolitan Hospital and the Global Alliance for Women's Health, among others. While a Waterbury resident she was a member of Beth El Synagogue.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, cousins and sister-in-law. We mourn the loss of a beloved relative and friend.
Funeral services will be hld on Tuesday Jan. 22, 2013 at 12 noon at the Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave. Burial will be in Waterbury Hebrew Benefit Assoc. Cemetery, Stillson Rd., Waterbury
